I started in cybersecurity, and it set how I think: systems first, assumptions second. I am drawn to work where the constraints are real, the failure modes matter, and the truth shows up in the logs. These days I point that same instinct at AI platforms — the infrastructure that serves and secures models in places where getting it wrong is expensive. High-assurance environments, where auditable and durable are not adjectives, they are the brief.
My work centres on the platform layer of AI: the serving, routing, and guardrails that turn a model into something an organisation can actually depend on. Less prompt-of-the-week, more how do you run inference you can trust, attribute, and defend.
I came to it the long way, through security and platform engineering, and that turns out to be the point. The instinct that hardens a system is exactly what you need when the system is a model.
Cybersecurity gave me the threat-model lens. Enterprise work sharpened the reliability mindset and taught me what high-assurance actually costs, day to day. DevOps, DevSecOps, MLOps were the same conversation in different forms.
What ties it together is not a title, it is a throughline: build systems that are auditable, durable, and honest about how they fail, and increasingly aim that at how we serve and secure AI.
Outside of work, I keep steady with a few anchors. Training is a reset button, gym most days, and kickboxing when I want a reality check. I used to think recovery meant doing more. Now it feels closer to returning: breath, attention, and less constant input.
I grew up playing piano and had the chance to play for weddings. I still come back to it whenever life slows down enough to hear it.
I gravitate toward old soul and blues, music with restraint, warmth, and honesty. The same song can comfort you one year and confront you the next. Small repeated actions tend to take care of the rest.
If you have made it this far, thank you. Have a look around and if you want to collaborate, swap ideas, or just talk systems, feel free to reach out.
